Thank you for joining us to celebrate Abortion Access Front’s 10th Anniversary in style at the Golden Probe Awards! Over 300 of our supporters, partners, and friends came out on the Monday night before Election Day, to celebrate 10 Years of raising hell and to spotlight those whose tireless work continues to pave the way for our access to abortion and bodily autonomy. We raised over $275,000 to power AAF’s work supporting clinics, exposing anti-abortion extremism, and building communities of activists to fight for abortion access with pride and with humor.
We laughed, we raged, we sparkled. The 2025 Golden Probe Awards was a glorious mix of comedy, truth-telling, and unapologetic feminist fire — a perfect reflection of AAF’s ten years of stirring up good trouble.
You can find more information from the event in our Digital Journal.
We kicked things off with an electrifying performance by Adira Amram, who made sure we’ll never hear YMCA (Why, USA???) the same way again.
Sandra Bernhard commanded the stage with her signature mix of biting humor and brutal honesty about our crumbling democracy and the dudes determined to run it into the ground.
We took aim at the year’s worst offenders in the war on abortion and bodily autonomy, with two Golden Probe categories recognizing their “outstanding” work in:
Best Original Science
Best Acting Like You Care About Women in a Non-Supportive Role
And, of course, we presented the Fearless AF awards to these true champions of reproductive rights and democracy, Renee and Lara Chelian, and E. Jean Carroll for the countless ways they’ve fought to hold abusers accountable and expand abortion access for everyone.
We were honored to have Joyelle Nicole Johnson, Charlene Kaye, Amy Hagstrom Miller, and Dr. Michele Goodwin join us as presenters — each Fearless AF in their own right.
And our founder, the incomparable Lizz Winstead, brought the house down with her signature blend of sharp truth, humor, and righteous rage.
If you haven’t given yet—or if you’ve got a little more fire in your wallet—now’s the perfect time. Abortion providers don’t stop working, and neither do we. Let’s keep shaking things up together.
