About Abortion Access Front
Founded in 2015 by Lizz Winstead, Abortion Access Front (AAF) uses humor and outrage to destigmatize abortion and expose extremist, anti-choice forces working to destroy access to reproductive rights across the country. AAF fosters a multicultural, multiethnic and gender-fluid team of comedians, writers, producers, activists and volunteers who create content, stage events and build grassroots support for abortion providers that comes from and speaks to a diversity of life experiences. AAF is a fiscally sponsored project of NEO Philanthropy, a 501(c)(3) public charity.
Position Summary
Coordinates programs and activities across current programs to achieve organizational goals, creates and implements programming at direction of Programs Director, and assists in event planning and coalition building
Essential Responsibilities and Tasks
- Supports the growth of AAF’s coalition of small, independent abortion activist groups and supports any working groups and projects that form from it. Leads trainings related to this area
- Acts as one of the leads in AAF actions and events online and on the ground, with duties ranging from communicating with partners, coordinating staff and volunteers on site, overseeing set up and take down at events, coordinating and communicating changes in real time during events and actions
- Assists as needed with clinic support initiatives including research and engagement with vendors, and ordering, organizing in storage, and mailing materials
- Coordinates development of new programming implementation and rollout, in coordination with Programs Director
- Assists Community Engagement Manager with determining volunteer needs and creating opportunities for involvement in AAF’s areas of work including events, trainings, clinic support, and direct actions
- Supports the growth and leadership development of AAF volunteers & partners across the country: plans and facilitates trainings as appropriate
- In collaboration with Programs Director and Community Engagement Manager, cultivates relationships with partner organizations to create opportunities for collaboration and support of partners’ campaigns
- Implements clinic support and morale boosting projects
Collaborates development in the Operation Save Abortion project through logistics planning and project management assistance - Data entry and other tasks associated with documenting program activities
- Some travel required (as it is safe to do so), as well as occasional evening/weekend activities
Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Ability
- Very organized, with strong attention to detail, deadlines, and follow-through
- Experience in community organizing or progressive campaign work, particularly in planning community events & actions
- Strong time management, with the flexibility to multi-task and the ability to shift priorities
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Ability to work both independently and as a team with coworkers, partners, and volunteers - Experience working with EveryAction, AirTable, or similar
- CRM/databases
Some basic design skills (e.g. Canva) a plus

Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000
Benefits: Through NEO Philanthropy, this position is offered a full benefits package, including 100% medical coverage for the employee and 90% medical coverage for dependents; 100% coverage for vision, dental, life/AD&D, long-term disability. Vaccine Requirement
