You know what does make people inured to murder? Standing outside clinics chanting about “murder” until the unbalanced people in your midst take matters in their own hands. But you knew that.

And if you don’t think chanting about “murderers” makes real murder more likely in a society, ask the Health Minister in Australia, where they found it necessary to support safe zones to protect abortion clinics from chanting hatemongers. Australia seem to be on top of managing violent creeps.

And then, right on cue, a notorious North Carolina sidewalk screamer got arrested over the weekend for ratcheting his hate into threats — someone who already had to be escorted out of a school board meeting for threatening behavior.
