To the Unknown Zygote… In “Just Try and Top This, Texas” news, TENNESSEE is considering a “monument to unborn children” on state capitol grounds. Gee, will it be the size of an actual blastocyst? You’ll need a microscope to see it.

News flash: a WEST VIRGINIA newspaper really likes using the word “dismemberment.” When the Register Herald did a story on multi-state attempts to curb reproductive rights, they decided to consult the Theocratic Thesaurus for their terminology. Read this to see how “mainstream” press fall in line with rightwing propaganda.

To nobody’s surprise, MISSISSIPPI, forever 50th in everything you want to be 1st in, is shooting for the bottom of the barrel in repro rights. They’re working on a bill to ban abortion after only 15 weeks. We just hope nobody tells them about that “monument to the unborn” thing Tennessee has going on.

Here’s a timely takedown from ThinkProgress on NY Times’ conservo column-monger David Brooks. Brooks wrote a column as an “Imaginary Democratic Consultant” telling Dems to embrace a 20-week abortion ban. No thanks, Unreal David. We have enough non-imaginary Democrats who don’t get it—rights aren’t negotiable!

At least NEW MEXICO showed a little common sense when they rejected a proposal that forced abortion providers to notify the parents or guardians of a minor who sought an abortion … with a certified letter delivered via courier. Jesus. Why not just mandate an edible arrangement?
