So remember yesterday when we were like “Everything relates back to abortion!” Well, turns out, we are always right because DING DING DING somehow CORONAVIRUS has become about abortion to anti-abortion politicians.

So Media Matters has a good breakdown of how the news… spread yesterday about the Coronavirus spending bill. Basically, the Daily Caller tried to say Nancy Pelosi was trying to insert $1 billion in abortion spending into the emergency bill. To this we say, “LOL.” Honestly, look we agree that politicizing things at this moment is not great, but that’d be such a funny boss move. It’s so boss and aggressive you… know we’d never do it.

So we’re denying people healthcare during a FUCKING PANDEMIC because some idiot anti-abortion people wanna make SURE ooohhh they gotta make SURE that not a CENT of this bill goes to funding abortion. To this we say: fuck yourselves. And also… bitch, what? We’re pretty sure that no one is even really thinking about abortion in this bill [we’ll get back to that].

A side note here, as we become thriving queens (and the other side becomes more vile mold on toast) we can say now, actually that the Hyde Amendment is NOT bipartisan. Adding Hyde Amendment language to the spending bill is adding partisan language to satisfy a bunch of poopy diaper should-be-adults so they stop shitting themselves with fake indignity. Like, it’ll prob be done, but if ANY LOGICAL person looks at this remember: time to stop being on the fucking fence about abortion rights.

One side: literally said nothing about abortion. Working hard to help people affected. Making sure people don’t lose their jobs. Trying to make sure the virus doesn’t close clinics [we’ll get to it]!

Their side: WE DON’T KNOW ABOUT SAVING PEOPLE’S LIVES, LET’S DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO DENY AS MUCH MONEY AS WE CAN TO PEOPLE USING MEDICARE!

WHAT WE SAID WE’D GET TO: So your top priorities now are keeping yourself safe and also making sure YOU do not get anyone else sick. But, as you all know, the coronavirus shutdowns are going to affect businesses and healthcare across the nation. So, if you are healthy (or really if you’re at home and need something to do), we ask you to help abortion clinics stay open and providing care. Write to our volunteer team, Anna  and Anqa , to see what you can do to help!

Stay safe out there, we’ll see you next week!
