jason

Jason Fluegge

Director of Operations (he/him)

Jason is best described as that friend who is already making a spreadsheet for this. Before Joining AAF, Jason spent 7 years managing operations for a small culture change org using media to combat gender-based violence, and the prior 8 years in non-profit arts management helping grow a community theatre into a world-class performing arts venue. Outside of work, Jason has a slight running and cycling habit, with multi-day charity rides, and 16 marathons towards his goal of running one in all 50 states. All this balances his passion for cooking, baking, and consequently eating.

Kristin Hady

DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS (she/her)

Kristin once read an article about clinic escorts being harassed and thought, “Hey, that sounds fun!” And the rest is history. She has spent the last seven years running the volunteer escort program at her local indie clinic, organizing protests and direct actions, raising thousands of dollars with her local volunteer-run abortion fund, and generally being a nuisance to any anti-abortion folks within a several hundred-mile radius. She has carefully honed her goddess-given ability to be Incredibly Annoying™️ and uses it exclusively on anti-abortion zealots. She found her people at AAF!
Maya, a Mexican-American women with light skin and short black hair, smiles wide at the camera. She peaks out from behind a red curtain in an old theater. She wears a black shirt under an army green jumpsuit.

Maya is a director and choreographer, and has worked off-Broadway, on Broadway, and in indie theater spaces.

Molly Gaebe is a writer and performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade and a proud abortion doula. She hails from Miami and has previously worked for the Reproductive Health Access Project. Some call her the “Sauce Queen” because she loves sauce so much. Sauce as in condiments. But she also loves wine so I guess both ways work.

Stephanie Oster

Director of Development (She/Her)

Before Stephanie was a fundraiser, she traveled the globe as a hairstylist, taught English as a second language, was a personal assistant to the glorious Roberta Flack, worked on a coffee farm, and eventually found herself as an aid worker in the Guatemalan civil war. In her most recent carnation, she’s worked in Advocacy and Development for the American Heart Association, Doctors Without Borders, Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative, and the NY Women’s Foundation. She remembers volunteering for the Bay Area Coalition against Operation Rescue (BACOR) back in the 80s and never imagined that accessing safe abortions and protecting patients from anti-abortion extremists could get this much worse. But here we are. She thanks you for your support to AAF!
